VIÑA DEL SILENCIO

D.O.Ca. Rioja

This red wine is crafted from grapes grown in the Los Molinos (old-vine Graciano), Los Quiñones (Garnacha), and José León (Tempranillo) vineyards. The blend draws from clay and sandy soils at varying altitudes, which adds complexity to the wine. Following a manual harvest at dawn—subjected to a rigorous double-selection process—the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged in first- and second-use French oak barrels. It is matured on its lees, which remain in the barrels, resulting in a structured, elegant, and fresh wine with a remarkably silky texture.

Tasting Notes

Visually, it displays an intense red color with garnet hues; it is clean and brilliant. On the nose, it is highly expressive and aromatic, revealing notes of ripe fruit and spices—such as clove and white pepper—complemented by a distinct minerality. On the palate, it is structured, flavorful, and fluid, featuring round, intense, and well-balanced tannins.
